EVENTS & MARKETING VOLUNTEER
At InnovationX, we are more than a programme; we are a community empowering entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers across Yorkshire and beyond. When you join InnovationX, you don't just take on a role, you become a part of a community movement shaping the future of Digital, Data and AI transformation across the region. ​​
As an Events & Marketing Volunteer, you'll enhance our events and content to showcase their value and impact:
1. Support planning and logistics for workshops, summits, and networking events
2. Welcome and assist attendees, speakers, and partners during live events
3. Document event experiences (via photos, videos, testimonials, notes) to use across digital channels
4. Design engaging content for social media, newsletters, blogs, success stories, and partner communications
5. Collaborate with marketing and partner teams to ensure consistent and vibrant event promotion​

Time Commitment:
3-5 hours per week or 1 day a month
Flexible and designed to fit around your schedule​

What are we looking for?
1. Organised, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about events and marketing
2. Strong written communication and social media skills
3. Basic design + visual skills is a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar)
4. A collaborative and proactive attitude and an appetite for bringing innovation and community stories to life
